The AR-1 was released by National Paintball Supply in June 2005. It retailed for $200 to $230, which was $50-$75 cheaper than the Wrath at the time. It was seen as a better buy than the Wrath, since it could be bought then upgraded for cheaper than the Wrath. It is under the brand of National Paintball Supply or AR or AR-1, not Diablo.
